Attila Szkukalek si spiegherà una tecnica d’allenamento che unisce le componenti delle diverse tecniche di Formazione, capturing, shaping, (clicker training), luring, target e barrier trainig.
Gli aspetti e componenti di BTB-T di formazione sono stati utilizzati nella formazione degli animali per secoli o addirittura millenni.
Per esempio,Animal trainers nei circhi e nei film, come anche gli addestratori,hanno usato questa tecnica e quella del rinforzo,emettendo un suono con la lingua o le dita.
Tuttavia, queste tecniche di formazione non sono state combinate in modo sistematico per insegnare esercizi in modo efficiente e veloce.
Obiettivi; dare ai partecipanti una conoscenza approfondita per perfezionare le loro competenze generali nel BTB-T di formazione
1. Capire le tre fasi del rinforzo,come condizionare i segnali “keep going” o “continue” e quando usarli. Efficacia del segnale “continue” invece di “shaping”.
Utilizzare I rinforzi per rafforzare il movimento e la posizione; quando utilizzare il cliker e quando e dove consegnare il premio.
2. Esercizi per migliorare le competenze di rinforzo utilizzando le prime due fasi del rinforzo.
3. Obiettivi e barriere; cosa sono e come usarli per raggiungere l’apprendimento veloce e preciso in obedience, agility e freestyle.
a) Criteri di insegnamento,con precisione e velocità per esempio insegnando heelwork con 4 criteri contemporaneamente utilizzando Il BTB-T
b) Utilizzare il BTB-T per evitare frustrazione e comportamenti sbagliati( ad esempio il latrato)
4. segnale d’azione condizionato (comando) e rinforzi secondari.
Requisiti: familiarità con il clicker training, capacità fisica e mentale di concentrazione e di lavoro per tutta la durata del workshop (2 giorni).
Attila ha presentato e utilizzato la tecnica BTB-T per la formazione per varie discipline nonché per la riabilitazione di cani problematici.
Bridge-Target-Barrier Training (BTB-T)
Bridge-Target-Barrier Training (BTB-T) is a training technique that combines the components of different training techniques; capturing, shaping (clicker training), luring, target and barrier training.
The aspects and components of BTB-T training have been used in animal training for centuries or even millennia. For example animal trainers in circuses and film industry, as well as dog trainers, have used target training for hundreds of years and also used conditioned reinforcers (bridges) such as a click sound with the tongue or finger. However, these training techniques haven’t been combined in a systematic way to teach many exercises in a fast efficient way.
The goal of this workshop is to show you how to use BTB-T in teaching dogs different disciplines and why it is beneficial to use this technique.
Objectives; to give the Participants a thorough understanding and to refine their general and BTB-T training skills.
1. Understanding Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Reinforcements; how to condition “Keep Going” or “Continue” signals and when to use them. Efficacy of “Continue” signals versus Shaping.
Using Reinforcers to reinforce movement and position; when to click and when and where to deliver the reward.
2. Exercises to enhance the Trainer’s Reinforcing Skills; using Primary and Secondary Reinforcers.
3. Targets and Barriers; what they are and how to use them to achieve fast and precise learning in obedience, agility and freestyle.
a) Teaching multiple criteria with accuracy and speed e.g. teaching heelwork with 4 criteria at the same time using bridges targets and barriers.
b) Using BTB-T to avoid frustration and displacement behaviours, e.g. barking.
4. Conditioning Cues as Discriminative Stimuli (Commands) and Cues as Continue Signals, Secondary Reinforcers.
Prerequisites: familiarity with clicker training, and physical and mental ability to concentrate and work during the duration of the workshop for 2 days.
Attila have presented and used the BTB-T technique for the purpose of training family and competition dogs for various disciplines as well as for the rehabilitation of problem dogs and the seminar has been a huge success. Join us to have fun and improve your training skills.
